This is a pattern for the free-style one-of-a-kind short scarf that makes use of randomly varied stitches that you determine yourself. It is more a recipe guide than a detailed pattern, for the style is as structured as you like. The yarn, needle size, stitches, shape, length, fringe, button are all changeable.
If you like to follow a structured pattern that guides you explicitly through to the end, this is NOT the pattern for you. However, if you like funky, freeform, and feisty, and like to experiment with your creations, then this pattern holds all sorts of ideas for you with enough guidance to create an interesting, lightweight, and versatile, functional scarf without the fuss of a long, weighty scarf.
