Angel Scarflette Knit / Crochet Pattern (pdf) $6.50
This complex-looking pattern is deceptively simple to create. It uses basic knit stitches (knit/purl), finished with a freeform crochet edging. Also included are instructions for a more traditional symmetrical crocheted edging. The style is completed with two small/medium buttons that allow the wearer to change the look. Push one or both buttons through the fabric at random to vary the design. $6.50

But everything is random, determined by the whim and will of the creator. The pattern explains all this, but if you prefer to strictly follow a pattern, this is NOT the one for you!
